Does your crew have a nickname for you?
“BoJo”, because I tried to use my hoverboard on water my first week on the job, but, they don’t work unless you have power!

What is your job title?
Flood Technician

What do you do for IRS?
Water Damage cleanup, organizing our vehicle, maintaining our equipment

How many years of Industry Experience do you have?
I have two years of experience, and hopefully many more to come!

Do you have any awards or certifications you’d like to highlight?
I have my IICRC Certification, and this past year I was voted “Rising Star” here at IRS by my co-workers!

Do you have any specialty skills?
I want to be the best at what I do, so I am motivated to work hard at everything I do; I think that’s the specialty skill I bring to IRS.

What is your favorite part about helping our clients?
Helping them get their house back to normal quickly, because I can’t imagine how stressful it is to not have everything you need to live your life available to you

Most memorable job you’ve ever been on while working for IRS?
We did this huge job for a client that let the problem go too long, and behind every wall there was mold. It was insane!

What’s a bit about yourself that says a bit about who you are?
I’m Marty and I love playing guitar when I’m not working. I play in a band called “The Flood Techs” and we play gigs in Vegas a couple times a month, unless I’m on call that weekend! I got into Water Damage Restoration because a friend of mine recommended it, and, it really works for my lifestyle, plus I love helping people and it turns out that I’m really good at what I do!
